The Olive branch

Sharing another old painting I did in 2009 (I think). Remembered I was so inspired by the 7 mountains teaching by Lance Wallnau that I painted this. He was invited to Cornerstone Community Church in 2009. I decided to paint the scripture Isaiah 2:2-3 to exhibit the 7 mountain message. This is my favourite theme and I have painted in different versions over the years.

There is a amazing story or I shud say encounter behind this painting.
Many of you would have recognised the Golden Gate in the painting. It is a famous biblical spot you would not want to miss when visit Israel. The significance of this gate has always been a subject for my paintings.

I remembered it was a afternoon and I was about to complete the painting. I was adding dots of olive fruits onto the trees when my friend YS (face in disguised) knocked at my house door. She had just returned from Israel and she brought a gift: a olive branch with olives on it from Israel! I was thrilled! What a timing! The most amazing part was she got this olive branch from East Gate the exact place I was painting!!! Isn’t Yahweh amazing?! I felt Yahweh was saying to me that He knew my heartbeat n He wanted to encourage me. This is one of the encounters I had over the years. It is also one the reasons I love painting biblical contents…pursuing His heart n He reveals His love in return. It has been 15 years since I stepped out to do painting… it has been very challenging but I know what I received in return is beyond one can measure!
