Adam was created in the image God, a full expression of His Kingdom where power and authority speak of the very nature of God Himself. Adam became ‘poor’ when he lost the Kingdom influence through his falling into sin. Jesus came to restore the Kingdom that was lost. He redeemed us by the His blood and made known to us the mystery of God’s inheritance through His death and resurrection.
Jesus preached the Kingdom of God throughout His teachings and demonstrations of miracles. He defied earthly limitations and restrictions by multiplying the 5 loaves and 2 fishes provided by a boy to feed the crowd of five thousand. Through this, revealed the Truth of heavenly Kingdom rule on earth. He also displayed the reconciliation of relationships between God and man through His Grace with twelve baskets full of leftovers!
All mankind is seeking for the Kingdom of God. Religions are created by man in place of the lost Kingdom. What Adam lost, man seek through methods, traditions and even experiences to find back the Kingdom of God. The search has been in vain unless it is through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus came to restore the Kingdom of God, the heavenly governmental rule that was prepared for us, grafted in as sons of God, from the foundation of the world.
In this current world situations of uncertainties where viruses are rampant and rumours of wars are often echoed throughout nations, people are challenged to seek a higher authority and a saviour. The situation has paved the way for the full manifestation of Kingdom of God where religion and man’s intelligence cannot save us :
“Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said:
“Blessed are you poor, For yours is the kingdom of God.”
(Luke 6:20)
神的国就在你们心里
亚当是按照上帝的形象被创造的，上帝的国度完整的表达了祂的大能和权柄，以及充分的讲述了上帝神性的本质。当亚当因陷入罪恶而失去国度的影响力时，他就变得“贫穷”。耶稣的到来是为了要还原失去的国度。祂藉着祂的宝血救赎了我们，使我们知道上帝继承的奥秘乃是藉着祂的死与祂的复活。
耶稣通过教导和神迹奇事来传讲神的国。祂打破了尘世的限制；藉着一个男孩剩下的五个饼和两条鱼饱足了五千人。由此，揭示了神国主宰着地球的真理。同時，祂藉着剩下的十二籃吃剩的食物彰显了上帝的恩典以及神与人之间的和好关系！
全人类都在寻求上帝的国度。宗教是人创造來代替失落的国度。当亚当失去了神的国度，人类通过不同的方式，借着传统信仰，甚至以个人经历去寻找上帝的国度。如此的寻索是徒劳的，因为只有藉着耶稣基督的死和耶稣基督的复活才能寻获。耶稣来；是为了还原上帝的国度。上帝的国度是为我们准备的，从世界的根基并嫁接到上帝的儿子手中，让我们原本不配得的，配得。
在现今充满不确定性的情况下，病毒的蔓延，战争的传闻经常在各个国家回响着，人类面临寻求更高权威的挑战和一位救世主。现在全球的局势，正好为上帝国度的体现铺平了道路，证明了宗教与人类的智慧无法拯救我们：
耶稣举目看着门徒说，你们贫穷的人有福了。因为神的国是你们的。
