In Jewish tradition and practice, the moon plays a central role in determining the calendar: New Hebrew months start with the appearance of new moons, which also lead to the determination of holiday dates and feasts.
Golden Gate (or East Gate) represents the hope/covenant for the triumphal return of Messiah who shall return through this gate. (Ezekiel 44:1-3)

Bet is the picture of the tent and means house or the family and is the first letter in the Torah that identifies the Son of God.

Yod is the picture of the hand or arm which means work or mighty deed.

Nun is the picture of the spout or the fish which means life or activity.

Hei is the picture of the man with outstretched arms to the heavens which means to look upon to behold or to pay attention to
Above reveals : to behold the mighty work of the family that brings life

Ayin is a picture of the eye means to see to know or to experience.

Tav is the picture of crossed wooden sticks which means a sign to seal or to Covenant.
Above means eyes to see and know the time and promises of God. Sons of Issachar understanding time and opportunity involving the Covenant.
The whole thing means :
Behold a mighty work of the son of God that brings life. Jesus the mediator of the New Covenant experienced the cross and shed his life / blood for the people/family so that all those who know/see shall follow him and be set free from the curse of sin and death.
