Yod pictured as the hand doing a mighty deed. It means perfection means that God has ordained a plan in heaven that will unfold on earth in order to accomplish God’s divine will.

Resh is a picture of a man’s head and communicates action to begin as well as concrete ideas. It is associated with ‘chief’, ‘head’, ‘beginning’ symbolizing top or first of something.
Harvest as a time of gathering, judgement, and reaping what was sown. Spiritually it symbolizes the culmination of effort, divine blessing on human action, and the elevation of physical world as seen in biblical festivals like Shavuot.
