Have you ever wonder why time exist? Or whether we can exist outside time? Believed many have pondered on this and left it unanswered. Common words we have used to describe time : ‘How time flies’ , ‘Time is getting shorter as we grow older’ , ‘Don’t waste time’, ‘Time out, game over’, ‘Time is money’….. We positioned ourselves under times rather than governing time. We come under the mercy of time (Ecc : 3:1-9)
God has put Eternity in our hearts (Ecc 3:10-11). God gave us the space through time to live in Him and move in Him through our God-given task on earth; and to rejoice it as a gift. How do we do that? Partnership with time to use what God has given us : synchronize in His rhythm in the sacred dance.
Yet we cannot ignore the truth that God exists outside time….. and so do we. There are many examples in the bible that speaks about people who have traveled beyond time… Ezekiel, John, Daniel, Enoch, Elijah…etc. God is Spirit, so are we reborn as spirit beings. We are one in Him once we believed Christ have come to die for us and redeemed us. We are seated in heavenly places with Him. We are called to bring heaven to earth not to go heaven through death. This is something we have yet to grasp. I believe the day is near when we shall all learn to fully live out the Kingdom that is already living in us.
